Walking in Paris

Today we walked to keep Doreen awake. Our apartment is right next to the St Sulpice church. We got out about 11:00 am and walked over to see some art in the Tuileriers Gardens. (See art above) It was very nice

Then we walked up the Champs Elysees for a while to see how the rich folks live. We were on our way to the Museé Guimet to see all the Asian stuff and walked by the George V hotel (pronounced George Sank) I don’t even want to know how much that costs.

We had a nice sandwich at a sidewalk café near the George V.

The Museé Guimet was nice (see some photos above)

Then we went to the Modern Art Museum. Se snuck in to two exhibits as our museum pass did not let us in. One was a Dan Flavin exhibit.

We then walked to the Palace of Chaillots and looked at the Eiffel Tower.

Then we walked back.
