On De Plane

It turns out that a couple of friends are on the same flight as I am to Paris. Charles and Eddie are on a Museum of Fine Arts of Houston tour of Aix en Provance and Paris. (That is them somewhat fuzzy, in the Presidents Club) When I was standing in line to check in, they were standing right next to me. Photo below.

I am flying to Vienna via Paris, but not on the same ticket. We learned a couple of years ago that it is possible to check a bag through on a different ticket, even if it is not on the same record. The good thing (but an odd thing) is that I have a paper ticket for the second leg of this trip. They were able to use that ticket to get the bag through.

The flight was a bit late leaving, so I will have about an hour to try and check in for my flight to Vienna. I hope that I make it.
